A
Role is a collection of permissions that is assigned to a user. When a user is assigned a role, the user also is assigned the permissions attached to the role. Permissions allow access to specific functions and actions in a product.
- Wolters Kluwer provides preset roles and permissions for each product.
- You can edit roles by selecting/deselecting permissions for a role. Permissions cannot be added or edited.
- You can add and delete custom roles. You can add as many permissions for a custom role as needed and you can select permissions from multiple products.

Adding/Deleting a Custom Role
After selecting +Role on the Roles page, enter role information and select permissions. To delete a role, select the circled X next to a role.
Editing a Role
You cannot edit Wolters Kluwer provide roles. You can only edit custom roles that you added. Select the role and make your changes.

ComplianceOne assumptions Roles and Permissions
Wolters Kluwer provides three default roles for the ComplianceOne assumptions product: Manage Security Administration Account, Manage Assumptions, and Assumptions Loan Originator. The Manage Security Administration Account default role has been added as a part of the new Security Administration component. The new default role will be available on all new accounts created after 10/19/2017. The existing Manage Assumptions Default role will include a new permission titled Manage Account. For new accounts after 10/19/2017, the Manage Assumptions role will only contain the ComplianceOne assumptions permissions and the account permissions will now be tied to the Manage Security Administration Account default role.

Expere Document Services Roles and Permissions
Wolters Kluwer provides three default roles for the Expere Document Services product: Manage Security Administration Account, Manage Expere Document, and Toolsuite Expere Document Services. The Manage Security Administration Account default role has been added as a part of the new Security Administration component. The new default role will be available on all new accounts created after 10/19/2017. The existing Manage Flood Determination Services default role will include a new permission titled Manage Account. For new accounts after 10/19/2017, the Manage Expere Document Services role will only contain the Expere Docoument Services permissions and the account permissions will now be tied to the Manage Security Administration Account default role.
